Banking Research Analyst

Location: Colombo Office | Full-time

We are seeking a detail-oriented Banking Research Analyst to research and analyze banking products, services, and market developments across Sri Lankan financial institutions. You will be responsible for gathering accurate information from public sources, monitoring regulatory changes, and ensuring our platform provides up-to-date banking information.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor Sri Lankan banks and financial institutions for product updates, rate changes, and new service launches. Research banking regulations and Central Bank of Sri Lanka announcements. Compile accurate technical specifications for banking products including interest rates, fees, and eligibility criteria. Verify information accuracy through multiple public sources. Track market trends and prepare brief analytical summaries. Maintain databases of banking product information.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. 2-3 years experience in financial services, banking, or market research. Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in English and Sinhala or Tamil. Understanding of Sri Lankan banking sector and regulatory environment. Experience with data analysis and basic Excel/Google Sheets skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple research projects.

Business Development Associate

Location: Remote/Hybrid | Full-time

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Associate to build relationships with financial institutions, identify partnership opportunities, and support our platform's growth across Sri Lanka. This role involves engaging with banks, credit unions, and other financial service providers to enhance our information coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and reach out to financial institutions for information partnerships. Maintain professional relationships with bank communications and marketing teams. Coordinate with institutions to obtain updated product information and announcements. Support outreach initiatives to expand platform coverage. Assist with market research and competitive analysis. Help develop strategies for improved data collection from public sources.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field. 1-2 years experience in business development, sales, or client relations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English and at least one local language (Sinhala or Tamil). Understanding of Sri Lankan financial services market. Professional presentation and networking abilities. Self-motivated with ability to work remotely.
